The root of the world’s conflicts is in each of us. We fight with others because we don’t understand ourselves and therefor don’t understand others. Our own selfish desires bring out our darkest behavior. In the effort to satisfy our own cravings we as humans destroy everything in our way. We lie, steal, and kill. Perhaps as a race if we could truly love others and think of how our actions would affect another person before we did it we could avoid the death and destruction we are currently creating. All it would take is the simple thought, “how would I feel if I was on the receiving end of my actions?”
